Welcome! My name is Ashley, My husband Tyler and I have a small Homestead on under 2 acres in the city. While we hope to one day move to the country and have more land we are doing and learning all we can while we are here! We are very much learning as we go. Our Favorite Finds!

As someone who wants to do it all, trying to do so can become costly. I try to find good quality items to do the things we want to but not break the bank in the process. So I will share with you my favorite cost efficient yet quality finds along the way!

This chicken coop door is an absolute game changer! Instead of having to get up every morning at 6 am or making my flock wait for me to go out into the run, the door automatically opens to let them start their day. Which makes for happy chickens and a happy me! Not being forced to go out first thing in the morning on cold days is a win in my book! Then when night time comes it closes up to keep them safe and tucked away. You can program the times to what works best for you. We have had this door on since April with no problems, and only one battery change. There are lots of doors on the market for all price ranges, this one fit our budget best and has been wonderful so far. I highly recommend and automatic door if you do not have one!

I absolutely love this juicer! The main parts come out and can go in the dishwasher for easy clean up and it works wonderfully. While it's not honestly cost efficient to juice all fruits vs just buying bottled juice, you can't beat the freshness and knowing you are getting just fresh juice without all the additives. I like to mix my morning tea with lemonade and the cost of fresh squeezed comes out to about the same as store bought lemonade, yet way better!
